Welcome to 2020 and our first of many PGA Newsletters!

2019 Highlights

PGA Tech Trip October 7 – 11, 2019

Pace Global Advantage teamed up with Toronto Business Development Centre to further explore the high-tech / fintech ecosystems in Hungary, Belarus and Lithuania. Our focus was to understand the local dynamics and regulations as well as to introduce Canada as a potential destination for startups in these areas. As we chose three very different jurisdictions, our priorities and focus were diverse, and we couldn’t have been more pleasantly impressed after the conclusion of the trip.

PGA Follow-Up Trip to Vilnius, Lithuania November 25 – 29, 2019

Following PGA’s trip to the region in October, we timed our follow-up visit to coincide with the biggest fintech conference in the Baltics, Fintech Inn, as well as the state visit of the Governor General of Canada, the Right Honourable Julie Payette – both took place in the same week.

Our confidence in the innovative spirit of the region continues to increase, and we renewed our commitment to bring the Lithuanian and Canadian ecosystems closer and facilitate increased bilateral business relations.

Fintech Inn 2019 was exactly the type of conference we expected it to be vibrant, lively, inspiring, busy and informative. 3000+ attendees, 500+ fintech companies from 60+ countries. No matter whether you attended the Main Stage, Invest Lab, Tech Corner or the Expo, you ended up being inspired by the dedicated professionals working to improve the fintech industry.
