Programming

Program Start Date: June 13, 2022

The trip was customized to accommodate the requirements of each company and their industry focus. The winners had access to first-rate Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, DMZ Alumni-in-Residence, and legal mentorship provided by Pace Law Firm.

During the one-week program, founders took part in workshops, program-led sessions, expectation-setting events, as well as one-on-one meetings. They learnt about the Canadian tech ecosystem, funding opportunities in Canada, the Canadian legal landscape, and HR practices. They also had multiple meetings with our Entrepreneurs-in-Residence who provided advice on how to best grow their business in North America.

Five chosen founders were flown to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and received a complimentary six-night hotel room stay.

Founders received a one-week soft landing program focused on expanding into the North American marketplace.

Founders attended workshops and one-on-one sessions hosted by industry experts, entrepreneurs in residence, and alumni in residence at the DMZ.

Founders were to make use of the chance to connect with potential customers and investors.
